Weber establishes the first factory in Vietnam

Ho Chi Minh City, November 9th, 2016 - The world's leading building material Saint-Gobain (France) celebrates the inauguration of the first Weber plant producing tile adhesive, tile grout and waterproofing products in Nha Be Industrial Park, Ho Chi Minh City. This is the first time that Saint Gobain Group has invested and built a plant for tile adhesive, tile grout and waterproofing products in Vietnam to serve the domestic market. With a history of 350 years establishing and developing, Saint-Gobain has been one of the 100 Top Innovators in the Top Five Global Innovators for five consecutive years (from 2010) by Thomson Reuters. Saint-Gobain operates in four major business areas: Building Materials, Innovative Materials, Building Materials Distribution and Glass Packaging. In particular, Weber, the construction materials industry, is the world's leading brand for tile adhesive, tile grout and waterproofing products . Weber Vietnam Plant was completed in plan and was debut in July 2016 to produce tile adhesive, tile grout and waterproofing products , creating many jobs in the locality. Estimated, the annual plant capacity reaches 100,000 tons of products. All Weber products are tested and certified in accordance with Vietnam TCVN standards and European standards.
